Kimbell Art Museum is located at the corner of Westheimer and Main Street in Fort Worth. The Museum has been home to world-famous paintings and art collections since its inception. Kimbell Art Museum, a masterpiece of a traditional old building in a classic Modern urban setting, was founded by artist, Kay Kimbell. His wife, Anna Mae Kimbell founded the Kimbell Art Foundation which they continue to support today. The Museum was created for the benefit of all society and is now home to world-famous paintings of famous North Americans and works by many other artists. The permanent collection includes art and sculpture by several artists including Lee Strasberg, Jack Vettriano, Arthur Rauschenberg, Frank Stella, Morris Louis, William Collins, Jasper Johns, Frank Stella, and others.
